CMG MI Contest Winners Donate Prizes to Local Shelter
STCU Real Estate Employees Help Comfort Displaced Children
Everyone loves a CMG MI online contest! But the team at STCU Real Estate in Spokane, Washington, has a very special reason for trying their best to win. Each stuffed-animal prize collected by the Credit Union’s staff is donated to a local women’s and children’s emergency shelter.
"They’re just the right size for the children who come in with only the clothes on their little backs and nothing to hug,” said Susan Motzny, Senior Real Estate Underwriter at STCU. “The toys are also small enough for the kids to take them when they leave. They are most appreciated and loved."
Each round of CMG MI prizes – ponies, teddy bears, and other plush toys -- won by STCU members is taken out to the shelter along with other items periodically throughout the year. Craig Lyle, the CMG MI Account Executive who supports STCU Real Estate, was thrilled by his customers’ generosity and commitment to the community. "I have come to find that Credit Union employees have great hearts and compassion," he said. "This is a shining example of the quality of individuals that CMG MI can call customers." |
